Pros:

Fits metal, blues, jazz and electronic influences into a seamless, cohesive package

Suitably ominous and melancholic atmosphere throughout

Both diverse and consistent, going from strength to strength

Cons:

Interludes, while immersive, repeatedly kill the album's momentum

Dark, brooding moods can homogenise many tracks

Best: Epitaph

Worst: The Death Knell

8/10 Bizarre, brooding, brilliant
