Pros:

Gorgeous, near-operatic lead vocals are full of emotion

Consistently sweeping and epic, with catchy choruses bolstered by tasteful, brilliant choral passages

Instrumentation is a real treat, blending metal with classic brass, woodwinds and pirate aesthetics

Cons:

Somewhat generic in its less compelling moments, meeting but not succeeding its symphonic metal expectations

Male vocalist is much less impressive or noteworthy

Becomes a little samey in the second half

Best: Master the Hurricane

Worst: Heal the Scars

7/10 Sea shanties on steroids
