Pros:

Undeniably nostalgic, taking us all back to our childhoods

Very calming and soothing, creating an atmosphere through gentle synths and other inspired sonic choices

Cons:

Most tracks are incredibly simple and repetitive within themselves while also being greatly derivative of one another, homogenising the experience

Artificial sounds and unnecessarily harsh layering spoils the mood of many passages

Best: Mice on Venus

Worst: Oxygène
