Pros:

Oppressively dark and brooding atmosphere, with haunting lyrical content and a nightmarish soundscape

Tonnes of punchy and massive riffs and hooks on here, implementing many memorable choruses and frighteningly low tunings

Unique and disturbing vocal delivery carries many tracks

Cons:

Shallow and lifeless production undercuts many otherwise powerful, heavy moments

Often rather simple and plain in its songwriting, sacrificing musical complexity for catchy appeal

Many slower tracks are aggravatingly plodding and space-filling, particularly in the atrocious bagpipe inclusions

Best: Coming Undone

Worst: Throw Me Away

6/10 Not as horrifying as I'd hoped
