Pros:

Brass inclusions, especially in the frequent and inspired saxophone solos, are tasteful, punchy and seamless

Classic rocking grooves are a real treat throughout, utilising excellent bass work and super retro synths alongside a host of other bizarre and wonderful sounds

Chord progressions are often surprising and intrepid, taking a healthy and appreciated amount of inspiration from jazz at times

Cons:

Vocals range from mediocre and generic to painfully pitchy and squeaky in the unwanted falsetto moments

Some tracks are a little generic and haven't aged as gracefully as some of their timeless peers

Best: Child Of Vision

Worst: Lord Is It Time

8/10 Such fun
