Pros:

Consistently massive, thunderous sound, utilising gigantic choral vocals for a wondrous timbral experience

Metal elements, including the chugging riffs and pounding percussion, are consistently gut-wrenchingly brutal and rhythmically satisfying

Evolution from slower ambience to more involved shredding across the tracklist helps to keep things fresh

Cons:

Begs for more detailed and interesting lyrical content that never really comes into full effect

Open production undercuts some heavier moments, robbing them of the ability to truly dominate the experience

Lead vocals leave something to be desired

Best: Fire God and Fear

Worst: In the Name of God

7/10 A simple concept, brutally executed
