Pros:

Fusion of hip-hop with country music is certainly charming and whimsical

Country grooves, including some fun guitar licks and sometimes rather bold string inclusions, are often lighthearted and enjoyable

Cons:

Unbelievably stale and derivative in its hip-hop elements, with near-robotic lead vocals and bargain bin drum loops

Production is flat and dull, drowned out by unbearable 808s

Reliance on country backing homogenises the tracklist and wears thin in the record's second half

Melodies, especially those that reference or interpolate classic folk and country tunes, range from standard and bright to shockingly forgettable

Best: Ronny & Ragge

Worst: Kjerring I fra by'n

2/10 Doomed in concept
