Pros:

Nightmarishly heavy and twisted, earning its demented lyrics and horrific imagery with some iconic and brutal riffs

Performances are unbelievably aggressive, with the harsh vocals and extreme percussion standing out as particularly haunting

Cons:

A stagnant tone and very simple songwriting makes this a homogenous experience that loses its lustre and shock value by the end

Clean singing isn't the strongest, dragging down some already forgettable and bland melodic hooks

Intentionally or no, the worst moments are so abrasive as to become ear-bleeding

Best: Surfacing

Worst: Torn & Tattered

6/10 ...this may upset some people
