Pros:

Lyrical content is incredibly personal and relatable, balancing cautious optimism against notes of sorrow to create a captivating atmosphere

Arrangements are textured brilliantly, utilising a plethora of gorgeous synth pads and acoustic elements

Production is warm and impeccably clean, keeping a retro feel without sacrificing on clarity

Lead vocals, especially when aided by rich harmonies, are a joy to behold

Cons:

Songwriting feels a little safe and standard at times, ultimately failing to evolve the artist's sound

Some ambient sections can be somewhat needlessly overextended

Best: A Given Thing

Worst: And in the Darkness

8/10 New obsession just dropped
