Pros:
Extremely satisfying as a metal album, packing in a tonne of catchy hooks and chugging riffs topped with crushing harsh vocals
Lead parts are energetic and noteworthy, delivering not just a range of technical and tasteful solos but many strong classical-inspired interludes as well
Production keeps things huge and momentous
Cons:
Overproduced clean vocals and a lack of unique melodies harms many choruses throughout
Feels quite inessential and derivative, rarely providing a more compelling or interesting experience than the competition
Best: Meet Your Maker
Worst: In The Dark
6/10 Headbangers, rejoice
