Pros:

Lead vocals are characterful and iconic, with even a past-his-prime Dio continuing to far surpass the competition

Features some enjoyable riffs and lead guitar parts, often incorporating fun blues scales

Cons:

Production is flat and lifeless, featuring a dull guitar tone and unsatisfying drum sounds that ruin many passages

Songwriting is generally weak and directionless, with many tracks being needlessly overextended and few moments standing out as particularly memorable or anthemic

Lyrical content is bafflingly basic and even laughably ham-fisted at times

Best: Wild One

Worst: Between Two Hearts

3/10 This one hurts
