Pros:

Instrumentation is lively and gives the record a unique sound, with the fiddle and accordion performances being particularly standout for their memorability and technical prowess

Consistently jaunty and catchy, packed with fun folk-inspired melodies and thrashy riffs that make this an enjoyable listen

Cons:

Thrash elements are subpar, with grating lead vocals and overly simplistic guitar parts dragging down the more interesting folk elements

Most tracks are extremely derivative of not just each other, but the band's back catalogue as well, leaving this album feeling largely inessential

Best: Niemi

Worst: Juuret

5/10 Better live
