Pros:
Consistently energetic and electrifying, using relentlessly full-throttle percussion and grandiose lead vocals to keep each track feeling important and dramatic
Sports many dynamic and noteworthy sound inclusions, such as the humongous choral vocals and the intrepid electronic elements
Lead guitar work is ever-impressive, standing out for both its technical wizardry as well as its ability to accent each track's narrative and emotional core
Cons:
Despite its best efforts, the record is still not too distinct from the band's other albums, not doing quite enough to carve itself a noteworthy pedestal
Some elements can be quite inconsistent, featuring rather weak balladry and clunky lyrical moments
Best: Night Witches
Worst: The Ballad of Bull
7/10 Puts the power in power metal
