Pros:

Production is enveloping and richly detailed, delivering some excellent R&B grooves as well as adapting to more layered, intimate moments towards the end

Voice leading is impressive in both its emotional and sonic range, providing a solid anchor around which the record can comfortable sit

Songwriting is highly consistent and greatly accessible, relishing in a plethora of fantastic hooks and captivating melodies

Cons:

Often feels somewhat derivative of its influences, not quite pushing the envelope far enough to carve a distinct niche

Lyrical content, which receives focus throughout, can be hit-or-miss, sometimes failing to capitalise on its best ideas

Best: Teenage Fantasy

Worst: Lifeboats (Freestyle)

7/10 Vocals carrying
