Pros:

Lyrical content is incredibly tender and touching, grappling with a loss of innocence in a personal and relatable manner while injecting welcome optimism into otherwise gloomy material

Sustains a consistently intimate, soothing and nuanced atmosphere throughout, bringing in moments of lush layered vocals or subtle additional instrumentation to draw the listener into the album's gorgeous mood

Strongest tracks contain some divine melodic touches and chord changes

Cons:

Lead vocals are certainly an acquired taste, focusing on emotiveness at the cost of some technical clarity

Many tracks lack a distinct musical identity, sometimes meandering in the country/indie sound without a clear non-semantic theme

Best: Donut Seam

Worst: Vampire Empire

7/10 Amazed I don't hate it
