Pros:

Acts as a detailed and well-spirited ode to all things country, housing some tasteful covers of classic hits while also refreshing the genre with touches of hip-hop and R&B

Lead and backing vocals are, unsurprisingly, rich in both technical mastery and emotional resonance, flourishing over lyrics that, in their best moments, range between personal vulnerability and sweeping messaging

Production is full and well-balanced, layering up swelling instrumentation seamlessly and adapting effortlessly into the record's shifting genres

Cons:

Tracklist is extremely bloated, housing a multitude of expendable interludes and spoken sections that drag the album out into monotony

Many acoustic jams that become the core of some tracks are largely interchangeable, only growing more tiresome with overexposure

Best: II HANDS II HEAVEN

Worst: OH LOUISIANA

7/10 A rootin'-tootin' rodeo
