Pros:

Hook-oriented songwriting is certainly bright and catchy, bringing a multitude of excellent choruses and entertaining melodies that are only bolstered by the record's delightful vocal performances

Instrumentation can be rather inspired and fresh at times, whether it be the ever-present funk guitar lines, the subtle brass inclusions or the closer's lovely string passages

Cons:

Suffers from an extreme lack of personality or diversity throughout, sporting variations of the same generic 80s pop structures and ideas over and over again

Lyrical content is, likewise, completely stagnant and commonplace, exploring its themes of love without any substance

Production suffices but suffers from needless drum panning and some outdated vocal choices

Best: Never Gonna Give You Up

Worst: Together Forever

6/10 Points for being so fun
