Pros:

Abrasive mix of timbres and tones, combined with some truly disturbing lyrical imagery, creates a horrific and weighty atmosphere that pervades every second of the record

Bass performance contains the best mix of character and technique, laying down a number of memorable and intriguing lines

Contains a host of individually rocking guitar riffs and melodies that shaped a generation

Cons:

Packed full of unforgivable technical errors, including needlessly unrefined guitar solos and awkward vocal moments unbecoming of such a legend

Largely homogenous and plodding across its tracklist, with a stagnant and dull tone and a single songwriting structure that every cut sticks rigidly to

Production is far too harsh and amateurish to be enjoyable, dialling in irritating drum sounds and frequent walls of feedback

Best: School

Worst: Downer

4/10 There will be no appeal
