Pros:

Instrumentation is a consistent joy, layering luscious strings, intriguing digital effects and soothing vocals together into a surprisingly cohesive and wonderfully calming record

Genre fusions and style changes help to keep things fresh and engaging, relishing in some punk and electronic influences to supplement its acoustic indie jams

Lyrics are relatable and impactful, often using insightful imagery to cut to the heart of many issues without distracting from the atmosphere

Cons:

Falls off somewhat in the final third, throwing in some more stale and wearisome indie passages that only bloat the record

Many songwriting choices are needlessly simple, relying on the production and presentation to elevate them

Best: Ripples

Worst: tinkerbell is overrated

7/10 Weird and wonderful
