Pros:

Hip-hop elements are surprisingly well-integrated, benefitting from an impassioned vocal performance and just barely escaping the realm of cliché

Drumming is outstanding and carries many grooves and passages, syncing up with the riffs and the vocals in ways that are both technically marvellous and devilishly enjoyable

Melodies and top lines are consistently fresh and memorable, delivering some wicked guitar leads and drones that give each track character

Cons:

The majority of djent-inspired riffs are disappointingly derivative and plain, blending together into a monotonous noise that loses all appeal by the end of the record

Many climaxes and breakdowns are neutered by overly heady production and a peculiar lack of harsh vocals, often failing to resolve any tension it builds

Best: Life and Death

Worst: Unconscious

6/10 An odd mix, for sure
