Pros:

Melodic choices are consistently interesting and adventurous, dipping into some exotic scales with finesse and creating some excellent lead guitar parts

Rhythm section is absolutely locked in, accenting key beats superbly and excelling via some satisfying drum parts and bass lines

Performances benefit from a great sense of spontaneity and humanity, relishing in its looseness and feeling unfiltered in its emotional content

Cons:

Lead vocals are a complete let down, being consistently off-pitch and throwing awfully awkward timbres into the fold

Mix is unbelievably dry and empty, sabotaging many moments and killing the record's sense of momentum

Best: Marquee Moon

Worst: Venus

7/10 Album cover is a travesty though
