Lyrical content is written with depth and subtlety, expanding into some poignant and touching storytelling and handling every topic with maturity and clever writing

Production is unconventional but generally enjoyable, stripping many elements back to their bare essentials and prioritising the record's satisfying melodic content above all else

Soundscapes and atmospheres are pleasant, enjoying a range of soothing instrumental layers


Cons:

Songwriting is generally fairly unengaging and plain, resorting to obvious progressions far too often and being too minimalist and underwritten to go anywhere too interesting

Performances are fairly despondent, giving very little in terms of technique or emotiveness
