Pros:

Instrumentation is incredibly satisfying, taking notes from jazz and R&B including hand percussion and electric pianos that underscore the wicked saxophone solos very tastefully

Songwriting consistently provides a beautiful mix of upbeat funkiness and rich soulfullness, balancing groovy guitars against some memorable and catchy bass riffs

Production is full and well-aged, bringing the best out of the lead vocals and layering every instrument up with a deft minimalism

Cons:

Fairly homogenous, sticking to a very specific niche and staying there for just a little too long

Does little to develop or expand on its chosen genres, staying firmly within the guidelines rather than experimenting too frequently

Best: Cherry Die

Worst: Why Can't We Live Together

7/10 Chock full of funky bliss
