Campy horror motifs, including the overblown lyrical content and the fun sound bytes throughout, are consistently funny and give the record a distinct character

Many hooks and choruses are surprisingly catchy and memorable, benefitting from simple yet effective melodies and strong imagery

Cons:

The album's sounds are a consistent mess, whether it be the outdated drum mixing, the muddy and dull guitar tones or the laughably unrefined vocals

Writing is mostly overly simple and generic, sounding very similar throughout its runtime and rarely offering much surprise

Riffs are surface-level at best, failing to stack up in comparison to more technical or aggressive offerings
