Pros:

Blending of metal subgenres is inspired and well-handled, taking vocal stylings and melodic elements from thrash metal, power metal and nu-metal and combining them all seamlessly

Other sound additions are similarly adventurous, especially the classical guitar-influenced ambient passages and the melodramatic balladry

Riffs and hooks are a consistent treat, showcasing an excellent use of rhythm and excelling in its catchy choruses and prominent bass lines

Cons:

Vocals are consistently strained and awkward, sounding like they're trying much too hard

Production is often askew, creating a hollow guitar sound and needlessly crushing the rhythm section

Often feels rather aimless and directionless, sometimes failing to build tension or momentum

Best: I Roam

Worst: Emotional Sanctuary

6/10 Wonderfully overblown
