Pros:

Certainly presents a unique and creative sound portrait, fusing electronic elements and a host of other influences into an avant-garde metal record

Many passages, though underexplored, are rather characterful, whether it be the raucous and aggressive riffs or the tasteful melodic moments

Cons:

Songwriting and the arrangement of ideas are categorically awful, switching abruptly between ideas and genres without any through-line or artistic intent

Falls hilariously flat for its entire first half, struggling unsuccessfully to find itself for far too long

Abrasive and ill-suited vocals ruin some otherwise tender or even funky moments, consistently sounding strained and awkward

Best: Field Sobriety Practice

Worst: Violent Astrology

2/10 A misstep, a mish-mash, a mess
